Mathematica is evaluating the implementation of academic instruction, intervention, and supports for students with Individualized Education Programs and other children eligible for services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
Mathematica has conducted studies of how the early onset of disability and the choices made by youth with disabilities affect their educational attainment, employment, and other aspects of their lives. Notable studies include a study of international programs and reforms in countries in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and study of the extent to which state vocational rehabilitation agencies aid youth who are making the transition to adulthood.

The redesign of the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) forms project centered on revising the then-current reporting forms used by state vocational rehabilitation agencies to report case performance and fiscal data to the federal RSA.
National Longitudinal Transition Study 2012
This study gathered information on students with and without disabilities, including those needing special education services, those with a condition that qualifies for accommodations under Section 504 of the Vocational Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and others with no identified disability.
