This report uses Medicaid Analytic eXtract data to provide basic information about American Indian and Alaska Native Medicaid enrollees and their use of Medicaid-financed long-term care services. The data suggest that American Indian/Alaska Native Medicaid recipients use long-term care services at a slightly lower rate than the general Medicaid population, and home and community-based services account for a greater percentage of their long-term care expenditures, compared to other Medicaid recipients.
